According to the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2308 documentation 1 , the default printing behavior when no printing policy is configured is to auto-create all client printers. This means that the system automatically creates printers in the user session that correspond to the printers defined on the user device. This option provides users with access to the same printers in a session as they have on their user devices.

The Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops architecture is divided into multiple conceptual layers. In Citrix architectural documentation, the Resource Layer is the layer responsible for the hosting infrastructure , which consists of:

Hypervisors (Citrix Hypervisor/XenServer, Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix AHV)

Virtual machines

Machine creation technologies (MCS/PVS)

This layer provides the actual compute, storage, and virtualization capabilities required to run VDAs. Since the hypervisor platform is part of the virtual machine hosting environment, it resides in the Resource Layer .

The Hardware Layer refers only to physical server components.

The Control Layer manages brokering, delivery, and site configuration.

The Access Layer involves authentication and user connection entry points such as StoreFront and Citrix Gateway.

Therefore, because the hypervisor is part of the virtualization hosting environment, it belongs specifically to the Resource Layer .

To monitor running published applications, Citrix administrators use Broker PowerShell cmdlets . Citrix documentation defines the role of the following:

This cmdlet returns active instances of published applications, including:

Which application is running

Which user is running it

Which session it belongs to

Launch time and instance metadata

This is the only cmdlet dedicated to reporting per-application instance activity .

Why the others are incorrect:

Get-BrokerApplication: Returns application configuration , not active app sessions.

Get-BrokerSession: Returns session details (user, endpoint, VDA, etc.) but does not list individual running application instances .

Get-BrokerSessionPreLaunch: Only shows information about pre-launch sessions, not active applications.

 To allocate the Citrix Virtual Desktops license file from the Citrix.com account, a Citrix Administrator needs the  hostname  of the Citrix License Server.  The hostname is case sensitive and must match the name entered in the Citrix Licensing Manager or the License Server Console

VDA registration can be configured using:

Group Policy Object (GPO) : Policy-based configuration using LGPO or GPO.

Organizational Unit (OU) based Controller discovery : Legacy OU discovery method.

MCS-based PERSONALITY.INI : Using the personality.ini file for MCS-based deployments.

These methods ensure that the VDA has accurate and current Controller or Cloud Connector information as Controllers are added, moved, and removed in the site 1 .

 The Citrix documentation states that if a machine catalog is not available when adding machines to a Delivery Group, a possible cause is that the machines in the unavailable machine catalog are of different OS types 2 .

The expression B matches the required traffic because it uses the IN_SUBNET function to check if the source IP address belongs to the subnet 10.107.149.0/24, and it uses parentheses to group the logical OR condition for the destination port being either UDP or TCP 53. The other expressions are either syntactically incorrect or do not match the subnet correctly. See  Policy Expressions  and  Classic Expressions  for more information.

According to the  Prepare to install  article, the First-Time wizard automatically pops up when the appliance is configured with the default IP address (192.168.100.1) or when licenses are not present on the appliance. Therefore, options C and D are correct. Options A and B are not related to the First-Time wizard.
