According to the Citrix documentation1, the triggerMonitor parameter specifies the conditions under which the service monitor is invoked. The possible values are:

• ALWAYS: The service monitor is always invoked.
• MEPDOWN: The service monitor is invoked only when Metric Exchange Protocol (MEP) has marked the service as DOWN for any reason.
• MEPSUSPECT: The service monitor is invoked only when MEP has marked the service as SUSPECT.
• NONE: The service monitor is never invoked.

Therefore, the command set gslb site SiteB –triggerMonitor MEPDOWN will set the triggerMonitor value to MEPDOWN for SiteB, which means the service monitor is invoked only when MEP has marked the service as DOWN for any reason.

 According to the Citrix documentation1, HA monitoring should be enabled only on interfaces that are UP on both nodes. If HA monitoring is enabled on a disabled interface of the primary node, the secondary node will not be able to receive heartbeats from the primary node and will not initiate a failover.

Therefore, to bridge traffic originating from 192.168.10.200, a Citrix Administrator can use the following command:

add ns acl bridge_192.168.10.200 BRIDGE -srcIP 192.168.10.200

This command creates an extended ACL named bridge_192.168.10.200 with the action BRIDGE and the source IP address 192.168.10.200. Any packet that matches these conditions will be bridged to the destination without processing by the Citrix ADC.

The administrator received this error because they did not run the Add-PSSnapin Citrix* command before running the Get-BrokerSite PowerShell command. This is required to load the Citrix PowerShell snap-ins.

The Get-BrokerSite PowerShell command retrieves information about the site, including the name of the deployment, the local host cache configuration, and the license level. This command is part of the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Administration toolkit and is used to manage various aspects of the site configuration.

The Machine Utilization report in the Machine Details page shows the CPU, memory, disk, and network usage of the selected machine over time1. This can help the Citrix Administrator identify any resource bottlenecks or spikes that may affect the performance of the applications launched from the published desktop session. The other reports do not provide information about the machine’s resource utilization, but rather about the user’s connection, session, and application launch failures2.

The Group Policy Object administrative template, which includes the ADMX and ADML files, is recommended for configuring Citrix Workspace app settings at the domain level. This allows the settings to be applied across various user devices within the enterprise

 According to the Citrix documentation1, nslog is a log that records detailed information such as statistics, metrics and debug information on the Citrix ADC in a proprietary binary format. Nstrace is a log that captures network traffic on the Citrix ADC in a standard pcap format. Syslog is a log that records system events and messages on the Citrix ADC in a standard text format. Nsconfig is a file that contains the configuration settings of the Citrix ADC.

According to the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Deployment and Administration (CWS-215) course, the LeastConnection method is used to redirect user requests to the data center with the fewest active connections. This can help balance the load across different data centers and improve the user experience. The other methods are not suitable for this scenario because they do not consider the number of active connections or the location of the user

According to the Delivery Controllers document, Citrix recommends having at least two Controllers on different physical servers for redundancy and scalability in a production site.  According to the Policies page of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2308 documentation, Classic policies are a collection of settings that define how sessions, bandwidth, and security are managed for a group of users, devices, or connection types. You can apply policy settings to physical and virtual machines or to users. Classic policies can be filtered by various criteria, such as HTTP, IP, and TCP. These are the only options allowed when using Classic policies. Other options, such as CLIENT, SERVER, and DNS, are not valid filters for Classic policies.

 According to the Reference Architecture: Image Management, Machine Creation Services (MCS) is a disk-based provisioning approach that works with major hypervisors and leading cloud platforms. The clones include a differencing disk and an identity disk linked from a base disk. MCS configures, starts, stops, and deletes virtual machines using the hypervisor APIs. The Citrix Universal Generic Printer is a special type of auto-created printer that uses the Citrix Universal Print Driver and does not require any printer drivers to be installed on the server. It can reduce the number of native drivers being used within the Site infrastructure. To use this feature, the administrator must enable the Auto-create generic universal printer policy setting

The NSIP address is the NetScaler-owned IP address that uniquely identifies the NetScaler on your network, and it provides access to the appliance. By default, the NSIP is the source IP address for packets originating from the NetScaler appliance, such as packets destined for NTP servers1.

The keyword can be specified in the Special Parameters - Receive String field. This monitor can ensure that the web server is not only responding, but also delivering the expected content.

According to the Citrix documentation, when configuring a high availability pair, the administrator can set the primary node to STAY PRIMARY and the secondary node to STAY SECONDARY to prevent the configuration from being overwritten by the other node. Additionally, the administrator should enable HA monitoring on all the interfaces of both nodes to ensure that the HA status is updated correctly. Therefore, the correct answer is C and D.

Creating application groups requires the delegated administration permission of the Delivery Group Administration built-in role. This is stated in the following web pages from Citrix:

 If client drives are not mapped in a HDX session despite the ‘Auto connect client drives’ setting being configured, it could be due to the absence of loopback processing. Enabling loopback processing in the Group Policy Object (GPO) allows user-specific settings to be applied regardless of where the user object is located in Active Directory, ensuring that the policy is effectively applied to the published desktops.

In the scenario described, when network connectivity to Citrix Cloud is lost, the Local Host Cache (LHC) feature allows one of the Citrix Cloud Connectors at the resource location to become the primary broker. This enables it to broker new sessions and manage existing HDX connections using the LHC, ensuring continuity of service during outages

You can also configure thresholds and alerts for the reports, and specify the email addresses to receive the notifications. Therefore, the correct answer is D.

According to the Create store page from the Citrix Product Documentation, the administrator can create a store for unauthenticated users by ticking the option “Allow only unauthenticated users to access this store” when creating the store. This option is suitable for contractors who will not be Active Directory users and need access to specific resources. The other options (HTTP Basic, Smart card, and Pass-through) are authentication methods that require user credentials.
