Launchers are invisible areas that can be placed over any part of the application. This provides context-sensitive help or guidance to the user based on where they are in the application and what screen element they interact with. For example, you can launch a Process Guide or a Message whenever a user creates a purchase requisition. The Show Back Button setting in the Display Settings is a toggle that determines whether a Back button is shown on the guide tip. The Back button allows the user to go back to the previous step in the guide, if possible. This can be useful for multi-step guides that require navigation across different pages or elements. The Sticky Guide setting is a feature that allows a process guide to remain visible in the Help panel until the user completes all the steps or closes the guide manually. This setting is only applicable for process guides, which are guides that have a specific sequence of steps and actions that the user must follow. If the Sticky Guide setting is enabled for a non-process guide, such as a message guide or a smart tip, it will not work as intended and will cause errors in the guide execution. Therefore, the OGL console will report this issue in a Health Check, which is a tool that scans the guides for any potential problems or inconsistencies and provides suggestions for improvement.  The Bulk Actions feature allows OGL developers to perform actions on multiple guides at once, such as publishing, unpublishing, deleting, duplicating, and exporting1. This is the most effective method for publishing multiple guides, as it saves time and effort compared to publishing each guide individually through the Guide Settings2. The Display Settings only affect how the guides are shown in the OGL widget, and do not affect the publishing status of the guides3. References:

The Show Back Button setting is a display option that can be applied to a step in a guide to allow the user to go back to the previous step. As a best practice, it is recommended to use this setting when the steps of the previous tip are visible on the same page, so that the user can easily navigate between the steps without losing context. For example, if a guide has multiple steps on the same form or screen, the Show Back Button can be useful to let the user review or change their inputs. However, if the steps of the previous tip are not visible on the same page, such as when the user has to navigate to a different page or tab, the Show Back Button can be confusing or misleading, as it may not take the user back to the exact state of the previous step.
